Stupid printer/scanner/piece of trash!  My scanner refuses to work when I want it to!  All I want to do is scan some art and upload it to DA, but nope, this evil thing has other plans!  I don't ask it to do much, print a few pages, scan a few documents, but this scanner has a mind of it's own!  And if I run out of ink, oh lord have mercy I can't even do anything, even if I don't even need the printer but just the scanner.

I often fantasize what a conversation between me and the scanner would be like...

Me:  "Hey scanner, just got a few pages to run!  It will only take a minute."
Scanner:  "Yeah I don't feel like it right now, try back later."
Me: "But I have a deadline to meet and an update i promised."
Scanner: "Ha, like that's going to happen.  Oh by the way you are out of cheetos and mountain dew.  I also ate the last of those cookies you made yesterday for you family."
Me: *Urge To Kill Rising*        

I swear it was built in the 5th ring of hell by Kodak and blessed with a scanning function by lord Satan himself and I unfortunately bought because it was on sale!

So I just broke ground on my first illustrated AB/DL story.  I'm really happy with it for the first few chapters and the illustrations are just so cute!

I will give you a plot:

In the near future science have uncovered that humans are not so different.  That the human brain is an amazing organ and more than we give it credit for, that fact that it can thrive in another alien body and adapt to it.  Theoretically someone who's body is no longer useful could be replaced with a complete brain dead donor.  However with the new body it takes the brain time for it to adapt to it's new home and many times certain muscle function take longer to recover than others.   

In this case a motorcycle accident changes the life of Tim, a 17 year old orphan who is under the care of his mom's sister, his Aunt Penny who loves him and will do anything for him.  With Tim however the only available donor is a 16 year old girl....
